Not a very good pressing at all. Have to crank it to get any sort of decent sound, and lots of surface noise even after wet/vacuum clean. Is what it is though I suppose as Pearl Jam half asses every vinyl release.

I had heard great things about this reissue (outside of the reviews here) so I decided to give it whirl. I didn't end up being that impressed with the sound on the part of this that actually makes it "deluxe": The "Redux" record, which is clearly inferior to the sound of the "original mix" record (though it is very low volume, it stands up well to cranking)--I think Redux sounds better on the CD, but the original may sound a bit better on this vinyl. Really nice package overall. Curious how the 2014 "Coke bottle clear" one sounds.

i find it too quiet and verry flat. i have an mp3 of alive that makes it sound like a dire straits vinyl, nice bottom end and so on, so im a bit thrown off. though it is clean and clear.

Anyone else’s pinhole too small? I almost have to bend the lp to take it off.

Is there a copy of LP 2 without pops all over it in existence?! Sheesh. I'm on my 4th attempt.

I have the MPO pressings. Should this be a new entry or just a matrix variant?

My matrices match Variant 1 exactly, but there was no cardboard insert. I bought it sealed new. Everything else matches.

There seems to be a new pressing of this for the US market. It was pressed at MPO and not wy WG at United.

I was very apprehensive picking this one up. But as soon as the needle dropped I had a big smile on my face. Instruments aren't as dynamic as I would have liked but the vocals are clear and upfront. Good buy.

I agree with raoul, this set sounds terrific! I've even grown to like the REDUX lp best overall... Of course for nostalgia the OG is a always a great listen! If you're consulting the comments to decide on buying, I definitely say go for it!!! No regrets here and i'd replace it immediately if something happened to my copy :)
