Many dj’s used to play this track on 45 rpm in a few teknivals parties during 90’s

The deliverer is one of the most well known tracks of this ep. I'd say this is more progressive acid than anything else. As the the track progresses the intensity rises but in my point of view the track progression is quite linear and it's a bit dated by now altough some people still might like this. I prefer the other projects by Jurgen specially Plank - Acid Wars and Acrid Abeyance. Nevertheless , not a bad ep if you love progressive acid but not really my thing.

I can't believe I haven't yet commented on this. I bought it 20 years ago on the strength of 'The Deliverer'. It was utterly astonishing then, and still is today. I don't know of any more exciting and/or powerful techno tracks out there. The build up is simply a heart attack in waiting. Played on a good sound system its power will blow you away. I can remember many a dance floor with people climbing the walls and screaming for mercy when this came on.
Even Tadao Kikumoto who invented the 303 went fucking bananas when he first heard it.

Check side B1, nuff said. Easily the best track in this EP and beats the other two cuts by a long shot.

As far as I'm concerned, The Deliverer is the flat out greatest acid track ever conceived. Its structure is the work of a musical genius, the build ups leave the listener gasping for breath under the sheer weight of the acidic onslaught. When the 3 cymbals crash and the final bassline pierces each one of your senses, you can find me with my head in the speakers in a state of bliss.
