Khaab is the one that does it for me! Using the introduction and large parts from the radio program Golha (it's Golhaye Taze episode 88, for those interested) - a recital of a poem by Seyed Karim Amiri Firuzkuhi read by ‏Fakhri Nikzad interspersed by santur player Fazlu'llah Tavakkul and singer Iraj underneath a deep house beat and bassline is so unbelievable suiting it's unreal. If i recall correctly Khaab means dream in persian and so it feels just like that listening to the tune.

Parvaaneh uses some samples from that program too, i think, and does it equally good, but not as intense as Khaab.

Not to mention the other 3 tunes, which are equally good. "Don't Deal With Violence" is my favorite with its acid bassline, breakbeats and amens thrown in, followed by the Survival Dub, which is a pretty good dubby breaks tune! Oracle is cool, but that lofi garage sound is nauseating after a time.

Get it for Khaab and Parvaaneh, but don't pay more than €10 for it. The guy asking for 25 quid is clearly joking...

So glad Oracle made it out on wax! Proper Persian UKG dubplate. Lovely piece of wax by the legend himself. PM me if you're selling!

Seriously nice stuff, if this had come out on a higher profile label I think people would appreciate it more. Excellent tunes sort of in a niche spot between oldskool hardcore and ukg - not totally retro sounding but nothing modern that would further date em to a more recent time. Persian is a great guy and these tracks are fun, def one to check out while there's still a bunch of copies on here.
