I've come now to expect nothing but amazing quality from these Pet Shop Boys vinyl reissues. One of this album's only shortcomings was that it was extremely loud on CD/digital. This vinyl release alleviates this issue completely. I mean, the music is still in-your-face theatrical, but there are much better dynamics at play and much more clarity. This is how it was meant to sound! This is most evident on "Yesterday When I Was Mad" and "Young Offender", where I notice much cleaner percussion and beautifully balanced bass that sounds much more musical. Brilliant reissue!

My god, this is a brilliant album. I bought it on CD when it came out, but had never heard it on vinyl til now. It takes me back to the fall of 1993 when I was too young to really understand much of the content, but I loved it anyway.

Musically, lyrically, it's just breathtaking. One of the best pop albums of all time, by anyone.

What are you listening to, that you have such a beautiful sound? I'm doing terribly. I will sell this LP.

I've been waiting for Very to be widely available on vinyl in the US for some time. Of course, first off, the cover is different from the CD. The remaster sounds extremely good, with two minor quibbles. There is a drop off in the high end during one passage of A Different Point of View, when it changes to mostly just voice and piano. I don't understand this, it's different from the CD (though I haven't listened to the recent CD reissue) and feels a bit disruptive. The second is the fade-out of Go West, when the music changes drastically, the volume goes down. It's basically the fade out, so not that big a deal, but it is more abrupt than the original CD. I do like the vinyl reissue, but I think I was expecting more from it. Maybe it's one of those rare albums where the CD is really the quintessential version - from the cover on into the songs. I love having it on vinyl but don't feel it's that necessary.

This is probably the best of the recent Pet Shop Boys reissues... both in pressing quality and sound. I'm especially amazed as this is quite lengthy for a single LP (53 minutes).

This is a really great remastered album. Sound is awesome!... I don't remember that sound details from my CD in 1993. The bass on Go West is so smooth here, really interesting... The secret track on CD is not included... I just realized, side A is a little louder than B, I use to digitalize my copies so it was a little uncommon.

The cover and inner sleeve looks amazing! The sound quality of this pressing is excellent! No sibilance and the songs have the right amount of volume. What surprises me is the fact that the record ends very close to the label, and Go West still sounds amazing! Overall an excellent pressing!
