No Nuclear War is a very haunting and sadly very prohetic final entry for Peter Tosh before his untimely murder on the night of September 11th , 1987. The Title track "No Nuclear War" is a warning of the fall out and aftermath of nukes being dropped and telling man to change his ways before its too late. "Nah Goa Jail" is Peters final plea for herb legalization, all over the world Peters vision is coming to reality. Herb is being legalized! Peter Tosh revisited "Fight Apartheid" from his iconic "Equal Rights" Album 10 years earlier to continue his fight against the wicked immoral Apartheid "shitstem" in South Africa. "Vampire" is another revisited track from one of his early singles from 1976. Peter does not hold his tongue for his hatred of wicked politicians and their "Politricks". "In My Song" is my personal favorite stand out track. This song is worthy enough to be in every Hymnal! "Lessons In My Life" sadly for tells his murder " Always be careful of your friends" It was a "friend" Dennis Leppo Lobban (a man that Peter was helping , feeding and even bought him a mattress to sleep on ) That pulled the trigger on Tosh and his guest that fateful night. "Testify" is Peters last testament to Rastafari and giving thanks to what JAH has done for him. "Come Together" is a plea for Peace and Love among mankind( a shocking entry for Tosh who only 10 years earlier recorded "Equal Rights" which states "I don't want no peace ! I man want equal rights and justice! "Peace" Is The Diploma you get in the cemetery which he yelled during a fiery speech at the legendary "One Love Peace Concert ". This is always a somber listen for me but very beautiful at the same time. Rest In Zion Peter Tosh
