This guy: J.C. Smith II who did this and Instinct...blows my mind, some of the most soulful deep house ever...balanced between sweet and broody bastard. Fuck yeah!

How bad is the pressing? Is it playable for in a club?

For me, this one is even better, more obscure and deep, than the Mindsearch EP on the same label. I'm almost sure it's mixed by Anthony Shakir too (he found another pseudonym for these releases and chose 'Hand' in reference to his widely known alias 'Shake' = 'Handshake').

honestly, you can buy this your eyes closed, this is pure detroit pleasure, made with care by a truly independant soul. and i'm sure his basement is full of crazy DAT tapes too .. 5/5 ( but don't get your hopes up on the mastering quality though :-)
