Actuall this a good record compared to the meat and potatoes loopism of prime/val records.

After his storming debut on Cosmic with his Module Overload EP, Phase follows it up with this rather dull and formulaic loopy tribal bollocks excuse of an EP. The usual cliched vocal snatches and Sims-esque drums make this (for me) the poorest release to come of out of the Lost/Cosmic stable. Highly un-original and stunningly reminiscent of the 'best' output of the ("funky tribal techno") Primeval label, this EP is the nemisis of the Module Overload EP which has originality and pisses all over any release on Primeval.

All in all a crying shame. I pray dearly that Phase changes his ways sharpish and reverts back to his haunting spaced out, minimal chuggers , and that Cosmic deliver the goods on their next release (sharpish).
