Personal notes from the artist in reference to the release: "This "album" was basically the result of a few things - the acquisition of a new recording rig, the breakup of a marriage, and the slide into a nightmarish and protracted addiction cycle. So it is not really the work of a totally stable guy.
20 copies were made and given to family and a couple of friends. Those copies seem to have all disappeared, but I still had the files on an old hard drive, and people had asked me over the years to release this music. It is a little embarrassing for me now to listen to it, but there are also things I can enjoy when listening to it because it almost feels like listening to the music of someone else. If nothing else, it is another little milestone, in terms of the first use of live instruments, and it deserves to be documented as such"
