Wow.
I mean seriously, though. We are very lucky to have captured this stuff on record. This album is a phenomenon. The music it contains is ultimately liberated. It's freewheeling and ecstatic; careening towards oblivion at every turn. It's the type of phenomenon that rarely gets witnessed by more than a few people at a time; like a lightning strike or a lynx sighting. It's raw, unadulterated, and totally natural. Rife with power, yet completely at peace with its environment. Rather than looking up at the cosmos and taking us to the intergalactic spaceways we've come to expect from Sun Ra's Arkestra, the players here were looking inward, and drawing inspiration through their roots. It's earth music. And that's all you need.

Can anyone tell me how this copy sounds compared to the 2013 Tizona release?
