Excellent album. I would rate this as one of the best albums from 1967. I like the U.S. Tower running order more than the UK version. Beginning the album with "See Emily Play" and ending it with "Interstellar Overdrive" was a genius move. It flows well with the louder more rocking tracks at the front. Then the softer tracks come in the middle, with I.O. finishing the record. Tower also released two more Pink Floyd albums, Saucerful of Secrets and Soundtrack to the Film More. It is a pity that this version of Piper was not maintained into the CD age, given that the Capitol albums of the Beatles have been released.

The tracks are in different order. "Astronomy Domine", "Flaming" and "Bike" are missing, instead there is "See Emily Play".
