My copy doesn't have any writing on the front or back of the gatefold sleeve, but has "pink floyd" on what is left of the spine. The sleeve is very flimsy and although shiny does not appear laminated. It has the track titles and running times on the inside, blank white disc labels and 1,2,3 and 4 on the runouts. I bought it in Virgin Records in Brighton in 1971.
Anyone tell me if this is the original pressing?

There is a very 1st issue of this album in its 'open legs' sleeve state that has a very thin laminated sleeve with white inner flaps on which the titles are printed.I have had multiple copies of all the original pressings in the 1970s-Embrwo,Miracle,Linda,Hamburg etc.BUT only ever got and saw 1 copy like this.I would guess it was some kind of a sample sleeve that was made in tiny numbers as a forerunner of the later 2 main alternatives.
