I second everything that was said by my fellow reviewer over eight years ago. I have been playing the hell out of this track (Function 1) recently. I could really care less about old it is, how times change, how we move on, but this is one of the finest loop tool techno tracks ever. Almost seven minutes of ridiculously pounding percussion, stubborn siren stabs wavering like two baseheads playing squash in the back of a pick-up truck, and a hook line made of brief vocal bits. Period. Luke Slater annihilating dance podiums, no questions asked.

Pulverizing purism paradise courtesy of Planetary Assault Systems. The prowess of this tune has been etched in speaker holes and turntable styluses for over a decade now. While it obviously sounds like something produced when it actually was, age does not have a patch on this. You could drop a dozen fresh records right there in front me, and I'd respond with this track alone and cause more pandemonium than a naked Rocco Sfiffredi running backwards through a lesbian pride rally.

That is what good techno will do to ya! The coad warrior code will smash your ego and educate your consciousness.

Still one of the finest Loop-Techno records ever committed to vinyl. The siren sounds on this smashing piece of Techno are going up and down, are building and building like a permanent peak.
