'Void Travelling' has a sound that feels as if it was made on a 32bit programmed computer together with self customized limited capability analog music equipment, and a 4 channel sequencer! This delivering a refreshing rawness sound and feel to its downtempo fed electro-fied acid/techno while wrapped in a spacey like synth monotone minimal ambient layer. A music-ambient void that blends leftfield downtempo moods, immersive abstract depth, and chilled ambient atmospheres along with catchy hooks and bare bones music sequencing that hook you in with its cool minimalistic analogue doodling electro/techno-acid. Though released in 1999 this still remains a unique leftfield computer/machine listen and album that might have even set the vibe for this kind of leftfield electro/techno-acid-ambient music! You might, at certain times, associate this sound with the slower, but less experimental abstract, side to Drexciya-ian pseudo's artist, who arrived/released later then this album, like Arpanet, NRSB-11, Der Zyklus; or better and closer to artist from same label and time era like Plod and Jake Mandel - though 'Void Travelling' still maintains it own distinctive vibe, mood, and feel that makes this album a hidden and underrated gem of yesteryear and now!!
