"Pockets" were one of those groups that were not spectacular, but good enough to record. What helped this, and basically all their albums, was their association with "Verdine White" of "Earth Wind & Fire". There are some head bobbin' moments like "Take It On Up", and the slow jam, "Lay Your Head (On My Shoulder)". It's sad, but the best song on here is "Sphinx", clocking right under 2 minutes. Like I said, it's ok, but don't expect "Earth, Wind & Fire" type stuff just because they hang around them....
