Tribal?!?! There's not so much as a single drumbeat anywhere on the entire album! What you do get is 45 minutes of exquisite, cerebral music. It's essentially a sublime requiem for ecologists and humanists, sample lyric:

The Earth and I are one
His eyes and my eyes are one
His ears and my ears are one

But the recitation of these words in the original Italian, by Guillermina De Gennaro, is spine-tinglingly beautiful. Her soft enunciation is pure audio-porn, and then the bees arrive! It's like lying beneath a beehive on a summer's afternoon, but with no chance of getting stung.

It has guided me softly on many interesting journeys, and when I'm horizontal for the last time, it will do so again.

Unfairly overlooked gem of an album.
