I just bought this yesterday and mine has pops too. Especially Lazarus. Has anyone else heard this?
The quality of the recording furthermore is outstanding.

My first copy had a ton of pops on it and had a good amount of noise. I cleaned it throughly and still this pressing just sounds noisy. Checked my cartridge alignment all is in spec. They sent me a replacement but that copy is noisy as hell too! I have several other records from kscope that are clean and no noise just these porcupine releases. I have a friend who had the same exact issue.

I have the clear and everything says 982, including runout etching. This issue is brilliant, I always felt my Lava CD version was fantastic, but this blows it away. SW really did a super job on the remix.....The bass has meat and potatoes and the atmospheric sounds are all over the room......Love it. Hopefully In Absentia is similar

I have the clear vinyl version. And the spine, label and sticker on the front only mention Kscope982 as catalogue number. I don't see 986 anywhere?

I too have received the black cover for the clear vinyl. Wouldn't have even noticed it if it wasn't for the sharp eye of others. As for the sound-after the initial playing I prefer my GOD blue vinyl better. The clear vinyl had a few more pops and I had to turn up the volume higher.

Anyone else's version arrived heavily creased? Mine looks like someone's sat on it or something! Really pissed off - and has to be said this isn't the first time this has happened from Burning Shed...

I have received this album from Kscope mail order. Originally I have checked the back cover for the catalogue number and there was: Kscope986. As I was checking the album out I noticed that Sticker and vinyl labels have Kscope982 printed instead.

I have raised this with Kscope and they replied that this was a packaging mistake (gatefold used from the black vinyl version) and they will forward to me the correct gatefold.

As such, I suggest all owners to check their gatefold for correct catalogue number.
