Surprise! "Spoil" is an amazing funky disco workout with a fat bass and chicken guitar, but all steeped in Koner and Mellwig's trademark dirty phasing and gritty production. Should work alongside the likes of Daft Punk. My only criticism is that it goes on a little longer than necessary, though some extra effects near the end compensate for this. Meanwhile on the flip, "Spoiled" bears little relation despite the similarity in title, and is a typically dark, moody affair which sounds like it has been recorded through a wall. Muffled BC chords combine with strange processed moaning vocals to take no prisoners!
