The FSOL remix has almost all the same samples as "Papua New Guinea". I don't know which came out first. Was this a test run or a quick cash-in job?

Personally I'm a little tired of "Papua New Guinea" so this is the one I go for. "Papua New Guinea" has less elements and kinda hits you over the head. This version may not hit you as hard the first time you hear it but I think it has a little more staying power.

Strange release, this one. For one, both FSOL remixes are the same. Both mixes are the "Deep Field" mix, so I'm not sure what the "Stateside Swamp" mix is, and where the record company comes up with its 5:46 running time. It seems the UK promo states that it also holds both mixes, but they have the exact same running times. Additionally, the time of the Extended Mix is 5:30, not 6:00. At any rate, the only reason to pick this up is the outstanding FSOL remix. Pretty timeless stuff, even if they did further milk the bassline of Meat Beat Manifesto's "Radio Babylon"!
