I've been a long time Prefab Sprout fan, ever since I first heard their fantastic Steve McQueen album, which at the time was about all I listened to for several months. I'm also very fond of their next releases "From Langley Park To Memphis" and "Protest Songs", and I still do enjoy playing these records from time to time. But then, times changed and so did my musical taste. I got hooked on the likes of Bob Dylan, Neil Young, some old time blues greats like John Lee Hooker or Sonny Boy Williamson, got my mind messed up by Stevie Wonders music... you know what I mean. So some time ago, as I was browsing through my older records which I hadn't listened to for some time, I took up those old Prefab Sprout records again. As I did some reading on the net I was quite surprised to see so many Sprout fans raving about this "Jordan, The Comeback" album, which I honestly didn't know anything about. So, curious as I am, I bought a copy right here on Discogs.... OMG, I mean OMG! This must be the most beautiful collection of pop songs ever put together on one album. Every song on this album is absolutely exquisite and a true gem, both musically and lyrically captivating. I'm so happy there are 19 of them on this single disc.
