With this you get some idea that CLEOPATRA had somehow designed the 'house' sound on their label. This is kinda Cyber-Space-Rock-cum-Cyber-Punk with some smooth, laterally-mixed sounds giving it a certain spatial flatness. Rocket-fuelled and ready to ignite, this album is one of the brightest, somehow cleanest pieces of electronic-tinted Punk Rock albums ever to hit the ears. They can also create some hooky songs - I was convinced that "The Right Stuff" was a cover version - it is so immediate that, once heard, you've known it forever. Without doubt the highpoint in what is actually a hugely enjoyable album.
Lean, chrome-gleaming Cyber-Rock which seems close to "Red Mecca" period CABARET VOLTAIRE while being much, much tighter, taking on board the sound of label-mates NIK TURNER & HELIOS CREED. The right stuff, wthout a doubt.
