This is a very nice and pretty rare Hip-Hop record from the late 80s. It has the typical NY samples like James Brown's "Funky drummer" (Track B1) or Jimmy Castor Bunch's - It's just begun (Track A3). On "Turn it up" they use a sample from STRAFE's "Set it off". Ron Delight and Louie Lou also worked together with D.J. Mark the 45 King. But on this album he only remixed some songs he was not deeply involved in the production. Nevertheless it sounds pretty much like on of D.J. Mark the 45 King's productions. Altough it was released on Tuff City Records and they had something to do with the 45 King both were not members of the Flavour Unit. I also want to mention that Louie Lou worked together with the 45 King on Queen Latifah's debut album and produced 2 songs on Latifah's second album and Ron Delight was featured on one of 45 Kings breakbeat albums. This record is a must have for all the Tuff Crew, Kaos, Paul C. and Ultramagnetic fans.
