Hahaha yes ! This is what I expected from "Pookie Baby" , but was glad to have found here on "Powderhorn Suites" ! Similar to Danny Brown's "Old" in the sense that there is nothing but bangers on the first disc , and on the second serenades, which I hesitated to enjoy but with a relatable cut like "The Ending", and reminisicing on when I had an "Outside Baby", Prof got pipes that I can grow accustomed to. I mean dude is from Prince's city, there has to be some soul in him that is just begging to be expressed and here he gets that opportunity and does not overstay his welcome.
From poking fun at himself to culminating with self-love on "Karma Legend", spitting about poverty and abuse through the lens of a child on "Flower Boy" while keeping the turn up on 10 up until "Dead Man Shuffle", Rhymesayers is bugging to let this Minnesota gem go on what is his most fully realized album to date.

Great vinyl to own for any prof fan. Unfortunately after a issue with the label Rhymsayers this was stopped from release 1 day before and only a limited amount made it out. Stophouse gave away the few they had left. This will be a collectors edition and a new rerelease will come out in a few months.
