Although the release date on the full release states that it came out in June of 1992, this was being hammered as early as November/late 1991 in and around the rave circuit and on pirate radio by most DJs. It was most definitely an anthem of sorts and played alongside other Rising High Records tracks in 1991 which had full release dates in 1992.

My favourite rising high release of the whole catalogue, and i believe one of the best if not the best hardcore EP ever created, with four out of four diamonds. While "Smokin'" was a massive rave hit and the most well known track of this ep back in time, "it's driving me" is the bomb, with the heavy breaks and bassline, plus couple of nice riffs. From the other hand "give it all you got" is a nice techno hardcore 1991 stabbin style track, but my favourite track of all "live vibe II" personal unknown id for years, is a very original track blending half way amens, marvellous synth pads, unique vocals and "a homeboy hippie and a funki dredd" rapping. This last one is in my opinion, the best and most unique "rising high" track ever done. Never heard anything similar to this in my life, which proves the originality of this wierd beauty of a tunage.

A fabulous dubby, reggae influenced hardcore tune from '92. I was at Sussex University in Brighton UK at the time it came out and for the whole summer I couldn't go to a single, flat, squat or beach party without hearing this tune played several times a night. (Alongside a ton of other Rising High tunes.)
