From the sleeve: "Re-mixed and re-mastered from original tapes using the Dolby System..."
Canadian edition indicates: "Textes Français Inclus" (French Text Included) on outer sleeve. Insert includes all back cover text translated into French *except* for the "Other Great Performances" column.
Formatting of the label text (composition and composer, orchestra and conductor, et cetera) varies to a minor degree from US labels.
Although the labels are printed with "Manufactured By CBS Records Canada Ltd.", the vinyl itself is stamped "COLUMBIA NY"; whether this applies to the masters or the pressings is unclear.
The Canadian outer sleeve feels like it is made of a slightly higher thickness of cardboard than the same American releases in the CBS Great Performances series, and the colour is slightly greener in bright sunlight.
The Canadian release has a PVC inner sleeve, as opposed to the plastic-lined paper sleeve on American versions.
