Listening to this album 12 years later as I'm ripping it on to my computer. Man, I've had forgotten how well made this album is. I remember DJing two tracks (Compos Mentis & Indigo Child) on a doof in Australia. The audience was just mesmerized by the sounds and did not know who to handle it! haha! :)

agreed, an excellent album, i really wish he would return to this dark and moody, hazy and hyper style... i do like his more recent works but i've noticed he has a tendency make his samples now sound like he's using repetitive CD skips as his sample palette and the overall atmosphere tends to be dry and clinical (though that CAN work too, but...). this Debut however was otherworldly.
