Public Enemy's fifth studio album (not counting Greatest Misses, half of which comprised remixes), released 23 August 1994. CD versions include a hidden track, "Ferocious Soul", in the pregap. Most versions feature an incomplete tracklisting on the outer artwork, omitting the titles of "Theatrical Parts", "They Used To Call It Dope", and "Harry Allen's Interactive Super Highway Phone Call to Chuck D". On CD, "Stop In The Name …" is also missing from the back cover, whereas on vinyl "Living In A Zoo (Remix)" is unlisted instead. On CD, the full tracklisting is printed on the disc itself; on vinyl, the full tracklisting is printed on the record labels.
Three singles were released from the album: Give It Up, What Kind Of Power We Got? / I Stand Accused, and So Whatcha Gonna Do Now?. Prior to the album's release, the original version of "Living In A Zoo" was featured on CB4 (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack).

Original promo has a defect on the first disk. Sick side skips through the first two tracks and muse side skips through the last two tracks. Otherwise a very good album.

January 27, 2021I was so exited to hear the instrumental version of this monumental album... There’s few sec between tracks! So it’s not the same listenning experience. Shoud i buy a second one to make a pass pass ? Don’t think so. Whatever a great disc.
