The sound of this record is really stunning. Unfortunately bad quality of control as usually these times - lots of clicks and pops which are quite audible in atmospheric passages. But again the sound is mind-blowing and overall package is very detailed.

I will NEVER buy this album on CD! The record label has compressed the CD so they scarify sound quality in favor for low dynamic range and to get the desired higher and flat level.
Why paying a studio artists and engineers just to then when the recordlabel get the product they compress it before sending it out to the public. Maybe we can not handle great dynamics??!
I hope the LP is not treated like that. Some albums have greater dynamics on LP than the digital CD and that is that they do not compress the LP master.

My clear vinyl copy suffers from both the inner and outer sleeves being too tight.
It is impossible to remove the vinyl without it looking like it is going to push through the seam

The artwork and liner notes are worth buying the L.P. version alone. Fabulous piece of art as a whole.

Some folks seem to be having trouble identifying if they have unopened copies of the BLACK or CLEAR vinyl.

The sticker on the cellophane will help you. Catalogue number of TCRVA02X is the CLEAR; catalogue number of TCRVA02 is the BLACK.

Excellent album! My first discovery of the year. It was recommended to me by the owner of my local record store. It's pretty much down-tempo until it explodes on the b-side and the brass come in and get crazy.

Whilst the album itself is really good, this release suffers from a large amount of rumble: the black vinyl pressing is much clearer sounding.
