Brilliant record, fast and funky. Anything Test starts with a laid back G Funk feel like P Funk Era before exploding into furious beats and quaking bass. My favourite track of the two is Positive Steps though which has a truly massive bass line, soulful vocal sample and rampaging breaks. This track always makes me think of later genres like 2 Step and UK Funky for some reason, it just has such a fast skittering groove that while it is 100% jungle it has that really funky feel that was probably picked up in later genres. One of those tunes that successfully mashed up dub, ragga, soul and funk into something new, exciting and British. I got mine in a pile of random records in an Ebay job lot and it was a real bargain.
