This record kicks ass. 1978 snotty punk rock with lots of attitude. In a similar vein to Dead Boys, Raped, Pagans, etc but with a slightly harder edge. Let’s face it, between Bad Brains, Death and Pure Hell it’s plain to see/hear that these bands made some of the best punk there is, seriously. I purchased the exclusive DeadRockers limited edition of 50 copies on clear vinyl. My ONLY critique is that the clear vinyl has a blue-ish tint. Otherwise the packaging is good. Sound quality is also good, raw and blistering as it should be. Includes a cardstock inner sleeve with liner notes, pics, etc.

NOISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing band and record. Loved them for years. Solid mix of rock & roll, punk and attitude and they look cool as fuck w/ great style sense. Pure Hell is mentioned in Keith Morris' memoir released last year. It's still a bit of a mystery to me why they aren't better known. The sound, fastness and handness of the music is very ahead of it's 1978 recording date. They are more talented than many other early punk bands.
