Haino is quite good on this release, but the band does not work together. Personally, I really dislike Laswell's playing here, the tone doesn't work with Haino and it is very busy. The drums work a bit better, but still clash with Haino's style. I don't play this very often, and whenever I do, I remember why I don't play it very often. But I will add- "Continuously Draw a Gentle Spiral" is still very good- it seems to come together for that track in particular!
