Is there anything to distinguish this from the first run from a few months ago? Are the issues with crackles and pops resolved with this press?

Wow! Totally worth the wait.i missed out on the first press because I assumed being on ghost box it would be widely available and wouldn't really be limited as such.i was wrong about that.anyhow, after the relative minimalism of 'prowler' I wasn't sure what to expect.if only I'd known! This has all the PCA technicality that we've come to expect but with melodies to die for! You think it's going one way and it takes a slight turn in another direction yet still maintaining the subtle euphoria we all want to hear.an absolute triumph and certainly in the top 5 albums of the year so far!

Ghost Box is notorious for bad pressings. Not surprised that Stasis is the latest problem. I bought 2 copies of The Focus Group's latest album in 2015 and both were scratched to hell. They need to find a new pressing plant ASAP.

Side A of my copy has a lot of tiny scratches (more like scribbles), after adressing this issue the distrubutor toldme the whole pressing is effected by this so wait for the 2nd pressing and return yr lp at that moment

I can see that I am not the only one with a scratched record, but mine has the scratches on B6 Mountain View. :(

Rough Trade have some copies if anyone's still looking: http://www.roughtrade.com/albums/106085

If the posts about noise on tracks B2/B3 are right, though, it might be worth waiting for the repress?

Repress coming November. Details from ghostbox Facebook page
"Pye Corner Audio's Stasis was a runaway success and the vinyl version sold out on the day of release. We are re-pressing this but vinyl lead times mean that it won't be available until Novemeber. It'll be a small run available exclusively from the Ghost Box shop. It will be the same price as the first version so unitl its available we'd urge you not to feed the Discogs sharks. "
The CD is still available here...

and in better record stores worldwide.

I've yet to see one vinyl edition of this for sale on any U.S. internet-music-seller, and I have been checking almost everyday since it's release date. I've been checking around fifteen left-field online places, and nothing. I do not think this has happened with any other ghost box records release that I can think of. My favourite record label - turning their noses up at us? Oh, wait, there was one on eBay for over a hundred bucks.
