Very similar to my copy of Innuendo from the same reissue series, which I got on the same day: very nice packaging with semi-glossy gatefold sleeve, great colours and crisp printing, and the record is housed in a poly-lined inner while also being packaged together with a printed lyrics sleeve.

The record itself is where the disappointment comes along: a somewhat noisy United pressing with frighteningly LOUD pops (ouch!) on some spots throughout both side 1 and 2, cut from a bog-standard CD-quality master that, while OK, doesn't have a wide and spacious soundstage, likely due to the compression used. Mind you, it does sound a tad bit better than Innuendo in terms of clarity and depth, but that's not saying much. The sound quality is just above acceptable, but not enough to be considered truly audiophile-grade.

Oh, and by the way, the poly-lined inner has had a RIP on the side ever since I first got this record new in 2011 and tore open the shrinkwrap. Not a good example of attention to detail on United's part.

It bears repeating: tread this pressing with caution.
