Superb quality release. HUGE improvement in sound over my 1981 release, will now be putting it up for sale. Don't hesitate in buying this. Mine was flat and dead silent no surface noise issues. The people here moaning are the ones who own the 1981 release and don't want to shell out for this Reissue. It should have been released over 2LP's originally but they took the cheap option. Highly recommended!

I bought this copy with a little reservation due the comments about masterization and quality.
Guys, this copy is a kick a$$ and is even or better than the original one. I understand the original nostalgia some stuff give us, but nothing like good sound to our ears. 4 song for side, nah is not an issue. lovely edition!!

my copy is fine no surface noise or anything yes everyone on about 2 discs and its 180 and its crap blar blar . really! theres nothing up with it its housed in a gatefold with nice inners 4 tracks per side etc sounds great better more modern quality than the original thats whats up everyones on about the original. its 2016 not the 1980s ... its a good edition i fought even on my fisher price record decks it sounded great

My copy sounds very good indeed. It helps having the tracks spread across four sides as it means it can be cut at a higher volume. No complaints about the pressing quality, but I don’t like the card inners; it’s hard to remove the discs without touching the playing surface.

My copy is very good.
The sound is far better than the remastered cd released a couple of years ago which was a ''sibillant'' mastering.
This one is full bodied, like it should have been for the cd i think.
My complaint is that there was a lot of dust, which is a shame at this price and for this monument !
Few clicks and pops, very few, but seems to be due to statics..... Sometime they disappear.
Anyway , it should be possible to sell copies without any of these as i bought LPs of Gilmour live in Pompei and they are absolutely noise free.

Lot of clicks and pop on quieter passages even after cleaning.

Cannot confirm surface noise...It needed a little cleaning for the first spin but sounds great.

Some reports of surface noise here.. Tell me, has anyone cleaned the vinyl first? That can make a big difference sometimes.
