My copy has the following etched on the Runout but it's clearly not red. Standard black vinyl.

Matrix / Runout (Etched, Runout Side A): D002449601-A MILES. ABBEY ROAD 1/2 SPEED. RM3D
Matrix / Runout (Etched, Runout Side B): D002449601-B MILES. ABBEY ROAD 1/2 SPEED. RM3D
Matrix / Runout (Etched, Runout Side C): D002449701-A MILES. ABBEY ROAD 1/2 SPEED. ROOM 3D
Matrix / Runout (Etched, Runout Side D): D002449701-B MILES. ABBEY ROAD 1/2 SPEED. RM3D

I don't really understand that but ok.

My only gripe with this is that it doesn't include "Under Pressure". Also, when I first bought it, the spindle hole was a wee bit small, so I had to push it down a bit. Otherwise, it's excellent!

Just finished my first listen and I think it sounds excellent! I didn't really notice the difference in sonic quality between songs etc like another listener did. I think Bob Ludwig and Miles Showell did a great job of remastering this one as I know the original was a real stinker at times. Great having that extra bit of detail that 1/2 speed mastering brings out also. I am very happy with my copy!

My copy is spectacular. Minimal surface noise and sibbulence is a none issue with my shibata stylus. Excellent dynamic range, a solid mix IMHO.

The system reproducing is mid-level audiophile setup for classic rock.

Pretty good pressing. Bit of sibilance on the vocals (which you definitely don't want when listening to Mercury) - most especially on 'Killer Queen' and 'Fat Bottomed Girls'. Second record is also pressed off-centre, but not so much that I'm getting wow or flutter. Despite all these complaints, the sound dynamics are great and I would recommend this.

Slightly disappointing remaster, fairly inconsistent in my opinion, don't understand why some songs and parts of songs sound better than others if they are supposed to be mastered by the same person. Good collection in general, but those inconsistencies are not welcome.
