My copy is fantastic! Excellent pressing. Sound is amazing! They really made use of spreading the songs onto 4 sides. I would be tempted to say get this black vinyl 180 gram pressing and don't be swayed by all of these colored vinyl editions coming out. I don't know that they would sound as good as this.

Man this thing rocks! Killer pressing, and I haven't had any issues with pops or skips as others seem to have. The only minor nit-pick I have is with the song selection (Maybe exchange the Flash Gordon theme for Brighton Rock or Tie Your Mother Down), but this can certainly be overlooked considering there are a bajillion other Queen greatest hits comps. Also, the center hole on mine was drilled really small on mine, leading to a mini heart attack every time I have to shimmy the record off of the spindle. Not sure if anyone else had this problem or if I just happened to draw the short straw.

My copy is a very quiet and clean and overall flat vinyl pressing. Sound quality is very good and the separation of vocal, instruments, harmonies is excellent. No pops or skips, so I must have gotten lucky! Overall a very good compilation with overall quality of sound that reflects the typical mid 70's quality of original 'sound' that goes easy on the highs and brightness, but clean mid and smooth bass. Some songs are more vibrant than others since they're all from different original masters/albums. Makes sense to me, I am happy with what I bought!

Not good quality at all. The sound is heavy, there are pops and crackles during the songs and the disc arrives (new) full of dust, I had to clean it before use...

I just received a copy, and I’m not experiencing the surface noise that others have. I’m enjoying it significantly more than the original one disc pressing I re are sounds jumping out in a pleasurable way that I never noticed before which is what you want from a remaster. The original still exists if I want the OG mastering.

Judging from some of the reviews here Optimal accidentally pressed a couple of good copies. I've bought two now and they're pressed for crap; loads of pops, crackles, and ticks throughout both. Wonder how long the vinyl resurgence can last with this junk. Back to my original CD.

My copy has the following etched on the Runout but it's clearly not red. Standard black vinyl.

Matrix / Runout (Etched, Runout Side A): D002449601-A MILES. ABBEY ROAD 1/2 SPEED. RM3D
Matrix / Runout (Etched, Runout Side B): D002449601-B MILES. ABBEY ROAD 1/2 SPEED. RM3D
Matrix / Runout (Etched, Runout Side C): D002449701-A MILES. ABBEY ROAD 1/2 SPEED. ROOM 3D
Matrix / Runout (Etched, Runout Side D): D002449701-B MILES. ABBEY ROAD 1/2 SPEED. RM3D

I don't really understand that but ok.

My only gripe with this is that it doesn't include "Under Pressure". Also, when I first bought it, the spindle hole was a wee bit small, so I had to push it down a bit. Otherwise, it's excellent!

Just finished my first listen and I think it sounds excellent! I didn't really notice the difference in sonic quality between songs etc like another listener did. I think Bob Ludwig and Miles Showell did a great job of remastering this one as I know the original was a real stinker at times. Great having that extra bit of detail that 1/2 speed mastering brings out also. I am very happy with my copy!
