You can hear the early development of Quench on this release which reaches with the climax Dyn. They clearly warrant the status of IDM Masters on account of Funckarma Solid State Exclude, Punctuated and finally Dyn which is some think like what Autechre should have made after Amber although I hate to draw comparisons Quench are in a league of there own but they must of been inspired by Autechre. This stuff is ethereal and mind melting from start to finish its solid throughout. They continued this trend on later releases. On the track fudge they capture the emotion just shows how much soul goes into there productions. There music is breathtaking with shades of industrial techno and ambience all combined together along with some Glitch break beats. This really is some think special and sublime which accumulates in the making of Dyn which is up there with the best IDM Release ever created IMO.

The Funcken brothers show they are capable of producing some nice melodic IDM. Together with some crunchy and glitchy beats its a nice experience to chill out and listen to this album. The tracks blend in each other so you will listen to one long mixed experience. Although not as strong as their Funckarma - Solid state release still I think this is a pleasant album to listen.
