The A side of this is similar to the previous four volumes - couple of big samples (Horn Track, So Real), with that recognisable Slammin Vinyl style (ruff production, loads of energy).

But the B side is a bit of a mystery. It sounds like it was produced by someone else - cleaner, with a more prominent kick and less frantic breakbeats = and doesn't sample anything (to my knowledge at least). It doesn't even have any pianos in it, which for 94/95 happy hardcore is very unusual. Instead, there's plenty of rave stabs, a touch of darkness in the middle, and a lovely final breakdown. It has enough of a different feel to stand out, without sounding out of place next to other tunes in the style.

I'd love to know who made it, and why it ended up on this release. But regardless it's that B side which makes this release worth picking up.

A side heavily samples the horn track, and love decade-so real. the label was by Red alert & mike slammer.

vol 5 should of had 5 question marks but it didn't, pressing error.
