Sure ... why pay 0,49 Cents for a record, if you can get it for 17000 Euro.

Art collectors are going to be paying a lot more in the following years for this Stensil. $10K is nothing in that world. Sellers should beware and get out before Banksy's valuation/hype goes Hirst though.

Lol. I love how a stencil of some half inch tall trees fetches 10 grand. Enjoy your trees dude

"Music" should be mostly about "music", right? Obviously this is not the case here as "Melody A.M." features a cover art by a famed artist...

Musically, this double-album offers a few, and let me put this nicely, "OK" electronic downtempo tunes by the Nordic duo Röyksopp. But this is where it ends already.

IMHO there is not one single track that actually stands out or let alone would stick in your head even if you had listen to it a few times. The Norwegian producers even incorporated a few cool samples to make this snore fest of an album more interesting, but they ultimately still failed in doing so. This over-extended, two-disc LP is just fluff and is really boring. Even more so, if you compare this outing by Röyksopp with other, really fantastic releases from this genre by other, well known producers of the early 2000s.

So this leaves us with the "packaging" of "Melody A.M.":

Well, I dig Banksy, really. Much of his (street) art work is just phenomenal and captivating. His stencils are often very original as well as engaging due to the underlying, political and social commentary found therein. No wonder Banksy received such a well deserved, global recognition as cultural icon of our times.

However, I do not see anything unique or exciting in the cover artwork of "Melody A.M." - except that it was made by the famed artist named "Banksy".

Not sure if Banksy listened to this album while trying to come up with something original for the packaging of this double album. Unfortunately just like Röyksopp fizzled with their music, Banksy was also unable to create something special for the duo's album cover.

"Melody A.M." is utterly disappointing, musically and visually.
