I have a copy of this pressing and whilst I agree that the quality of the disc is poor (all sorts of coloured flecks in the black vinyl and a roughly cut edge with loose tags sticking out), the actual quality of the sound is overall SUPERB, with really crisp defined bass and clear, bright treble....mine has only very slight/occasional issues with crackles/pops/noise....nothing that severely detracts from enjoyment of the album - perhaps I was just lucky, or perhaps I am easily pleased! A fabulous album - sides 1 & 4 are my favourite - Royksopp's best IMHO (I was never a fan of Melody AM). Only one poor track - RONG - an apt title, for it is just WRONG! I skip that one....The album has now been re-pressed as a 3 disc set and I am probably going to buy that as well to get the extra tracks on vinyl (although these were available on download with this pressing I think).

I emailed a pressing company in the U.K. about this album, and they were incredibly helpful. They looked into it, contacted the label and found there to be a problem at the manufacturing stage and that this album was going to be Re-pressed. Indeed the following link would suggest that is the case:

Does anyone have any contact details for Dog Triumph Ltd? My copy was missing the download card... Mine had a small scuff too :/

Agree with previous posts - got 2 new copies here - both full of surface noise - gutted :-(

I'm on my 3rd copy of this. Took the others back due to surface noise, mainly on the first side. Held up to a bright light there's a mottled, cloudy appearance. I give up all hope of getting a flawless copy, gonna stick with it now :(

I bought a sealed copy too. I agree with the previous members. There is a lot of surface noise which appears to be worse towards the last song of each side. The silent parts or the parts of the song with lower volume (atmospheric) are the worse. Also, my A and B side labels are placed in the wrong side (which is not a problem but might be interesting to collectors). I am trying to find a way to contact the label who released this but it is impossible.

I can only agree with imperthnthn!
Do NOT buy the vinyl edition! My copy was scratched and some pieces of vinyl all over it.
Sounds NOT GOOD! (I bought a sealed copy)
