It took me about 15 minutes, 2 ciggaretes and one computer crash to even get a thought on reviewing this, and i still don't know how to begin. It's pointles to even try to describe what the A Side sounds like, a melting pot of acid, techno and house that grabs you from the moment you hit play, taking you through what Salvador Dali's brain would probably sound like.
There is no doubt in my mind that this one's for the history books, and considering this was made in 1995, when Ricardo was in his early 20's, and only just released 6 years ago, i can't help but wonder what other masterpieces this guy created back in the day, long forgotten DAT tapes. What's even more dubious is that this release, in fact the whole label has been made available for digital download. Even so, having this unique, one of a kind work of art in vinyl is a collector's dream come true. Only one for sale and it's 500 $? I say it's cheap.
Extra note - the lyrics that you hear in the track "On ne voit bien qu'avec le cœur. L'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux." are from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's "Le Petit Prince", but i have no ideea who is reciting it ( One can only see cleary with the heart. Essence is invisible to the naked eye. )
