Not the cleanest pressing, a bit of static and a pop here or there, but nowhere near as bad as I'd been led to believe it would be by Discogs. Definitely pick this up if you want a pressing of this masterpiece.

I think I heard a pop during Drive, but that's it. This album sounds great. I mean greeeat. Did i say how great this sounds? This album sounds great? Well so far. Finishing up side one.

Speaking for my copy, perfectly flat, perfectly clean, not a tick or pop to be heard. Dynamics are fully there, a great reissue. Based on this I'd highly suggsst buying it if you are on the fence.

Picked up a copy today, clean and quiet throughout, sounds great! As with any pressing, I'm sure there are some bad copies out there, but that wasn't my experience at all. Really happy with this one.

Had to exchange first copy. Seemed to have grains of dirt embed on first couple of tracks. Same as mentioned by someone else.

2nd copy fared much better! A little dirty, some scuff marks, but after cleaning, only a couple of pops on side A.

Sounds amazing and quiet after cleaning.

Wow...I ordered this without reading any reviews, and after I read them I was sorry I ordered it.

Until I got it today and started playing it.

I've never had this on vinyl before, but this just sounds beautiful to me. It's too bad that some people seem to have gotten bad copies of this, so I can't really say "You MUST buy this!" but yeah...I'm glad I did.

I have to give it (from my experience) an A+.

Noisy, not as dynamic and a bit flat sounding compared to the original US pressing, but passable being that an original is over a hundred bucks.

For a 25th anniversary reissue, I was expecting a little more care given to this release. The packaging just doesn't scream anything special. Still, the music is as glorious as ever, and while it's not the last word, it does sound nice on this pressing. Also, there is a download code which I give the label props for since that's not always the case with reissues. Recommended.

I had a similar experience as steve_o66 below. The record itself was covered in debris from the inner sleeve and looked terrible, but after a quick wet clean, the vinyl sounds incredible with very little-to-no noise.

I'm sorry to hear about other people's copies being of lesser quality, so I wish I could say "buy with confidence!" But do know that some EXCELLENT copies of this pressing exist. If anything, I blame the subpar packaging (the inner sleeve was promptly replaced with a MoFi sleeve.)

My copy was filthy out of the package but it cleaned up nicely and sounds great. Glad to finally have his on vinyl.
