Added some replies and comments below but as a public service announcement figured should write a review. I have gone through two copies of a batch received by local store in January 2018. Still has all the issues described below. On top of crackles in the quietest moments of the quietest tracks LP1 is off center, hole too small. I ran thru my Okki Nokki a couple times and made a slight difference but not enough - and the crap coming off these pressings is ridiculous. Turns the clear liquid a murky grey.

I bought this somewhat recently, and don't have any of the issues described in the reviews below. However considering the awful cardboard inner sleeves the records come in, I wouldn't be surprised if its just luck of the draw.

i cleaned my copy with near mint record cleaner, and the crap that came out on the stylus and the brush afterwards was horrific

I was mostly happy with my copy on the first listen however there was a crackling sound during True Love Waits which was disappointing. It sounds great in parts but the ocassional surface noise is frustrating.

Great album, awful pressing for my black copy. Bad surface noise throughout pretty much. Real disappointment. The sound to me is also kind of flat, not particularly vibrant and lacking a bit of detail. Luckily, I also have a 24 bit 44Hz FLAC copy which sounds excellent.

first copy i picked up was scratched badly b-side. black vinyl. returned it w/reservation to get another copy considering the reviews here. both pieces of black vinyl are flat. the gatefold is a truly "functioning" gatefold meaning it doesn't pinch the inners when you fold it up after sliding them in. nice touch with the artwork design in the outer gatefold sleeves.

sound quality: A1, lead-in crackle; NM throughout song. A2, C, D1 = VG+ (noisy, multi-spin tics - too bad 'cause "Daydreaming" (A2) is a quiet track and the noise heard here is very close to taking away from the listening experience but tapers out (gets lesser of an issue) 3 minutes in)); D3 = VG (noisy; flaws); B = NM.

i've heard worse. but a brand new record with an overall sound quality of VG - after a professional cleaning - is a hard sell and for some a failure and waste of money. i'll be keeping it for the moment and'll wait for a repress - or better pressing from a better label - to come along somewhere down the line (before i'm dead hopefully).

I think mine (black vinyl) sounds terrific using my new but very very modest Audio Technica AT95E w/ Fluance RT81.

I think mine is fine (black vinyl). I have an ortofon 2m bronze w/ VPI Scout carefully aligned and set up. I've heard others with same pressing rave about it. I'm scratching my head...

Bad white vinyls and bad black vinyls. The white was EU pressed, the black was US pressed at Rainbo-- both were crap. Tried two sets of black vinyls-- both crap. By crap I mean noticable sruface noise on nearly all quiet passages, loud ticks and pops strewn throughout, and, in the case of the white vinyl heavy warping and visible edge mutilation-- from going too fast during pressing. If I were Radiohead, given the true excellence of the art pressed into this vinyl, I WOULD BE VERY PISSED OFF. It's a huge letdown for fans and for anyone that cares about the medium. It most certainly did NOT have to be this way. What a fail...
