Has a few skips but sounds great. Maybe a few cleans will fix it?

The general consensus seems to prefer Parlophone releases to Capitol ones in regards to the Radiohead albums. The complaints are similar to those verifiably lobbed at late 2000's Coldplay releases by Capitol Records: distortion, digital masters, less dynamics, compression, etc.

I lucked in to a Parlophone release of OK Computer (see my comment history), and can attest that issue is an incredible sounding pressing. I have not heard the Capitol Records version, and thankfully won't have to.

I am also trying to track down Parlophone pressings of Amnesiac and Kid A due to positive reviews here.

It seems harder to find opinions on The Bends. Looking at listings for this on Amazon, Best Buy and Barnes and Nobles all mention Parlophone in the item details. Today I received a copy from Amazon, and the markings 100% make my copy undeniably a Capitol release. Listening now (not hyper critically, but attentive). Surface noise seems non existent, and I did not hear any distortion through speakers at a modest volume. Will give a listen at some point with the world shut out, but this is sounding good to these ears right now.
