Each copy of the same run is different, as usual with vinyl records. I have the GZ pressing, it sounds very good. Put it on the turntable and use your ears.

Excellent pressing. It's a joy to listen to. Plus the newspaper art is fun.

I have two copies which come with just 2 10" singles but no CD? Also the cover is just the artwork with no title in white on the cover. (also the front artwork is on the back in both copies I have. I believe they are promo copies but have the same serial number TICK001S.Anybody interested in making an offer on these promo copies go to user/PeoplesSoundRecords and I will send you pictures of this release, because I dont see it here.

From my understanding, during the recording of this album Radiohead members recorded and pressed their individual parts onto vinyl and the sampled them back to create the final songs (similar to Portishead's recording method.) Therefore, the "noise" many of you are complaining about may just be the artifacts inherent in the songs as they were recorded.

Although the artwork is actually superb I also have a noisy copy which ruins especially the quietest parts.

This pressing is good, but not perfect. My copy doesn't have the noise mentioned by other reviewers, but there are a couple of clicks and pops, not enough to ruin the otherwise high SQ though.

Does any one have a copy of the bag / 'A full-colour piece of oxo-biodegradable plastic film holds it all together,' which they no longer need / want?

If so can you please let me know.

Cheers
Dan

Just got these beautiful clear (GZ Media) records and they sound absolutely fantastic. Amazing clarity and separation and dead quiet (for the most part) when it's supposed to be... at least on sides A and B. NOW... if some ill-timed noise on sides C and D is going to drive you mad, avoid this pressing. But if you just write it off as part of the vinyl experience (as I do), buy em and enjoy! The separation, clarity and fullness on C and D is still very much present - you just gotta put up with a little bit of a noisy floor.
