"The Wheezels" was a bit of a love it or hate it affair. You either got it or you didn't, and I got it in a big way. It's hard to describe exactly what "it" is though. "The Wheezels" just consists of an oddly entrancing single-bar electro progression varying in intensity. It sat alongside "Bang Yer Head Off" and "Manjari" in the little minimal electro niche that was occurring around the time of this release. I like it but I can see why you might not.

"The New Style" on the flip is another big tune. Again, something a bit different. It's a bouncy, ravey track combining now-typical electrocore pads with an acid lead. Great stuff.

Putting Sigma (8)'s "Rescue Me" remix on the second side, a remix that had already been released at that point, and not crediting it was a pretty cheap trick and a waste of space on the vinyl. You can't mark a double-sided vinyl negatively for having a third track but, having said that, it was a mistake.

Good release.
