This release basically collects 3 well-known bootlegs, and is one of the 'loophole' releases which are released and sold legitimately.
The sound quality is great, and of course the performances are fantasitc.

This could easily be a 5 star release if it wasn't for:
-All the lazy errors in the info given by the label, most of which were blindly copied from the original bootlegs - eg. some songs incorrectly labelled as others.
-Multiple songs annoyingly being lumped into one track, instead of being tracked separately (I'm not including teases of covers in this) - there are 3 tracks which each include 3 complete songs, and 1 track that includes 2 complete songs with a tease cover inbetween.
-The fact that on the 1st and 2nd discs, each track is bookended by fades, which really messes with the flow of the performance (on the 1st disc, count ins are included as the ending of the previous track, meaning the first few seconds are missing from each track).

Sadly, the label that released this completely lacks any quality control, as can be seen on some of their other releases. It says a lot, then, about the quality of these recordings that this is still most certainly worth seeking out, and unless you already own the original bootlegs, this is essential to any RHCP live collection.
