I've been collecting vinyl for a few years now, and this reissue/pressing is an absolute shitshow. Pisspoor packaging, flimsy innersleeves (I've a had tissues that were thicker than those) and the vinyl is full of dirt and stains like it would have lying out in some rainy backalley. Instead of downloading this from some filesharing site, you shell out your hard earned money just to get this atrocity. F*CK 4AD or whoever is responsible for this.

listening to again after lots of years, at time of release sounded so different, now im older still sounds singular even though i'm more aware of it's pretentious but even the bad songs are good and when it all comes together (great sounding drums) its the best. Let's get sad together

Anyone noticed the annoying noise/feedback in New Jersey? Weird. I've cleaned it a few times but i keep on hearing it. Not sure if its from the recording..
A few scuffs and dust! Tight sleeves. Argh but so far i'm fine with it since i can't afford OG pressing.

No problems here. Dead silent after a couple runs, incredible sound. Records removed and stored in poly, no scuffs to report.

Some songs are just as noisy as the Down Colorful Hill-reissue :( Sad to hear many people experienced the same problem. The paper sleeve seem to have caused a lot of scratches on my copy. Don't know if it's the material of the sleeve or something else that is the cause of this...

January 18, 2021Some great songs on it, but a full listen through is beyond tedious, as run time is about 1 hour 15 minutes.
Would give this 3/5 stars if it wasn't for Katy Song.
Much prefer the first Painters album.
