Splendid selection of Viennese waltzes played with great gusto by Reiner and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

Ah, those fabulous Strauss Waltz's performed to near perfection by Fritz Reiner conducting the CSO. Transferred from the original 3-track session masters gives new insight into the real dynamic contrasts that make this a real Living Stereo recording.

Musicians: Chicago Symphony Orchestra Fritz Reiner, conductor

Selections: Johann Strauss, Jr. (1825-1899) Vienna Blood, Op. 354 Artists' Life, Op. 316 Josef Strauss (1827-1870) My Life Is Love And Laughter (Mein Lebenslaud ist Lieb' und Lust) Johann Strauss, Jr. Roses From The South, Op. 388 Treasure Waltz, Op. 418 (from "The Gypsy Baron") Thunder And Lightning Polka, Op. 324
