Hang on... One of Mark Pritchard's ultimate dance-floor moments here, hell one of the best from Reload/Link/Global Comms affiliated back cat... Soaring is a beautiful slab of acid tinged, pant wetting goodness. A far cry from the earlier hard & fast paced acid techno from Reload, non the less every bit as accomplished as earlier releases- albeit in a more direct, clean & perhaps less challenging format. Even so, its devastating. Sounds more like Global Comms with a dollop of acid on 4/4 steroids. Total floor domination. On the flip, 'Rhodes 6-8' takes one of Pritchard's apparent main obsessions; drums; into ambient space, while the 4-4 version adds a break to the pattern, making for a sublime broken beat; pre-empting his later 'Trouble Man' projects for Far Out. 10/10
