Before he decided to take over the world as Bob Sinclar, Chris Le Friant had already touched down in Brazil with his Reminiscence Quartet project, and, on their third album, MORE PSYCODELICO, they bathe in the mellow groove. Salomé de Bahia offers her vocals to the groovy "Onde Anda Meu Amor," while "Gannabara's Café" goes much more spare. But Bob Sinclar does make an appearance, with a house mix of "Eu So Quero Um Xodo." "Peace Of Mind" is toned down from that, but the horn line keeps it vibrant nonetheless. Salomé punches up "Psycodelico," which Nancy Danino quietly graces the moody "Roda Mundo." The spirit of Carnival batacudas its way onto "Un Premier Jour Sans Toi" but slows down for the soul of "Batucada De Carioca Pt. 1." It's like a free trip to Rio.
