Wow, this reissue is one of the best Delsin re-issues from this first quarter of 2019. Had been looking forward to this specific release for quite some time now. Tracks like A2 or C3 stay in ur memory forever despite you wont hear them on a dance floor :)
Music that with time just gets better and better

Delsin's first reissue album of 2019 is the album 'Repeats', an important techno and IDM record from collaborative outfit Repeat, which originally landed on A13 in 1995. Nineties collective Repeat started out as Mark Broom, Andy Turner and Ed Handley, with Dave Hill joining in later on. Ed and Andy, of course, also recording as Plaid and also still members of Black Dog Productions, with whom they recorded albums closely before and after this one. The result is a hard to categorise album that breaks all the rules and draws on IDM, techno, ambient, house and electro to make for nine tracks of atmospheric analogue music that still sounds fresh and in a world of its own.

It is presented across both black and limited coloured double vinyl, with all nine original tracks featuring next to a full digital release. "

Just listening to this for the frist time, I'm thinking, hang on a minute, why have I not heard this before, it's quality UK electronics, but wait, what's that, it's by The Black Dog/Plaid, well they kept that one quiet didn't they.
I'm either going to have to up the price I' selling this for or keep it for myself methinks, will decide after a couple more listens, but sounds wicked so far.
undervalued IMHO.

A rare quality lesser known album by Plaid's Ed Handley & Andrew Turner, collaborating with Mark Broom and Dave Hill. Released quietly back in 1995 on the now defunct short-lived A13 label. A fantastic techno album packed with beautiful melodies, energy, and emotion making this an absolute must have for those into deep rhythmic Detroit/UK techno; and for Plaid/The BLack Dog fans as it's by the same guys!
